On July 26, 1992 Brenda Lambert, a young mother of two goes missing in West Virginia after her son's first birthday party, just days before she files for divorce from her abusive husband. Rumors of her disappearance begin to swirl when a close friend of Brenda's also disappears just 6 months after Brenda goes missing. Are the two disappearances connected? For the last 31 years, Brenda's sister Christy has made it her mission to find answers into what happened to her sister, insisting that Brenda never would have just walked away and left her children behind.
